- #1 sql should never be literal strings but instead use a proper abstraction
- #3 loading the media sidebar is slow compared to bDS/bDS2
- #4 i18n is hand-rolled but must use a standard implementation

- #11 bring the dashboard into parity with the bDS2 dashboard
