opening the media sidebar takes a long time to load. There were optimizations done to bDS2 to speed it up, look into those optimizations to also apply them to RuDS.

this is just based on the fact that iced builds up the actual image widgets. if it is an actual issue later, just reduce it to 100, but for now leave it be.
