it was working at some point, but right now it seems that only commit does something. Also there is no feedback visually, so the user doesn't really know what happened.

Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
