Crates, type and declaration ledgers, failing test parity placeholders, program targets, license, and the rewrite plan compile. Delivered by initial shell commit 115425c. This is not yet the callable public API or semantic test suite.
Extract authoritative compiled metadata, map 100% of public members to reviewed Rust signatures, and provide only standardized failing bodies. All signatures, documentation, and downstream compile fixtures must build before test translation begins.
Replace all 1,295 pending cases with exact reviewed Rust equivalents using the public shim. The entire suite must compile and fail only at standardized unimplemented member boundaries; no production behavior is implemented in this milestone.
07 - Wire codegen
Create deterministic native Rust generation for packets, visual parameters, skeletons, trees, genepool, and attentions from the reference data. Commit reproducible generated Rust and validate exact golden packet bytes and IDs.
Implement OSDInspector, the core examples, all TestClient command targets, and then Vivox and WebRTC validation programs. Perform opt-in, credential-safe live-grid and device validation with reversible operations.
Fuzz untrusted parsers, establish cross-platform native CI and MSRV, finish docs and examples, audit semver, APIs, licenses, assets, and performance, and prove release artifacts have no CLR, .NET assembly, subprocess, RPC, or LibreMetaverse foreign-interface dependency.
Implement UUID, vectors, matrices, quaternions, enums, conversions, collections, caches, and token bucket behavior in native Rust. Turn only the already translated Types tests green.
Implement the OSD value model and binary, notation, XML, JSON, and Protobuf compatibility in native Rust. Turn only the already translated StructuredData tests green, including malformed and golden-format cases.
Implement managed images, codec traits, TGA and J2K adapters, prim extrusion, sculpt meshing, OBJ output, and rendering parity. Turn the existing imaging, PrimMesher, and relevant rendering tests green.
Implement UDP, capabilities, login, simulators, settings, cancellation, reconnect, region lifecycle, and logout in native Rust. Validate against deterministic fake servers before any live-grid dependency.
Implement agent, inventory, assets and appearance, objects, parcels, terrain and environment, social, directory, groups, marketplace, estate, and related manager behavior against the fixed translated suite.
Implement the rendering crates, RLV protocol and restriction system, and LSL lexer/parser tools in native Rust against their already translated suites. Add public API migration documentation.
