[Semantic Versioning](https://semver.org/); the public compatibility surface is
also fixed by `api/SEMVER-BASELINE.json`.

## 0.0.1 - release candidate

### Added

- Native Rust implementations for the mapped LibreMetaverse types, structured
  data, imaging, meshing, wire protocol, client/network lifecycle, world and
  social managers, rendering, RLV, LSL, voice adapters, and programs.
- Deterministic compatibility, fake-grid, concurrency, performance, API,
  documentation, dependency, provenance, package, and native artifact gates.
- Explicit OpenSim dedicated-account validation with sanitized nine-stage
  evidence and reversible side-effect confirmations.

### Release requirements

- Normal development and release validation use Rust 1.97.1.
- The release candidate is not approved while
  `metacrate-ci-matrix release-candidate-audit` reports any blocker. Fuzz-smoke
  is temporarily deferred by explicit project direction; every other gate is
  fail-closed.
- No artifact-signing identity is configured for 0.0.1. Checked SHA-256 values,
  immutable Gitea build artifacts, license notices, and provenance manifests are
  therefore mandatory.
